Some good blue shark fishing on Wednesday 7th of August on board the Rebecca C  of Ballycotton Sea Adventures skippers. We had 9 blue sharks successfully tagged and released

There is some what of a competition aboard the Rebecca C this season in regards to shark fishing in that who ever catches the biggest shark between now and October the 19th gets a cool €1000 cash prize and at the moment Eddie Howard is the man to beat.

It was another good day today Thursday 8th of August for all of us at Ballycotton Sea Adventures and Rebecca C.

We left Ballycotton pier at 9am and took a lovely trip west down off Ballyandreen where we got plenty mackerel and then on further west to Power head where we got some very fine pollack. Good Craic had by all and plenty fish to top it off.

Go fishing…
