Ronan Cusack reports

Angling has been tough on Mask over the past few weeks as the warm weather continues to dominate across the country.

The lake was busy over the weekend with anglers getting in a few days practice for the fast approaching 2019 World Cup. Reports were mixed as some anglers concentrated on the shallows while others perused the daphnia feeders across the deep.

Ballinrobe and District Anglers held there annual club competition this weekend with 52 anglers participating. A total of 25 fish were weighed in. Well known Cork angler Paul Mulamphy took first place with 3 fish weighing 4.35lbs.
