Fishing guide Noel Molloy has been having some nice fishing on the River Nore over the last few weeks. Noel has been using nymphs and dries and has had some very nice trout for himself and his clients. The water levels have been good and even though there was a flood in the river last week after heavy rain, levels dropped and the water cleared fairly quickly.
The are some olives about and mayfly was sporadic to say the least and the cool breezes have not helped matters. However, despite the unfavourable weather for flies hatches, nymphs always seem to produce good results when the hatches are sparse. If you fancy a days guided fishing on the beautiful River Nore why not get in touch with Noel!
