Moy Estuary sees good run of sea trout

1810
The Moy Estuary

The last week of May brought soft south winds with a slight rise in temperatures on the Moy estuary where Judd Ruane reported a good run of sea trout. Visiting anglers and local boats enjoyed good angling with fish up to 4 lbs.  Also, there was a good run of mackerel in Killala Bay with much bird activity working on the sandeels. A grand sight to behold.
