After a few windy days, fishing picked up again on Carrowmore during last week with more decent spring salmon reported.
Among the successful anglers were Declan Dooley, Dublin, James Burnes, NI, Liam Gilsenan, West Meath as well as a number of local anglers. Sean Kelly from Castlebar enjoyed a very memorable day on the lake catching his first ever salmon. Well done Sean! Most successful flies included Green Peter, Dabbler patterns and various Bumbles some tied with a muddler head.
