8/6/2022 Just one boat out this day and what a cracker of a day UK Currane flyman Mr. Marcel Gilliou had while fishing with the lonesome boatman of caught four Grilse on the fly and as the Grilse said, the truth of the pudding is in the fly. To all Currane anglers please click and I quote, the Inland Fishery’s, Currane Anglers are needed for Citizen Science survey to examine fish stocks Wind West fresh with good cloud cover at times.

9/6/2022 Just two boats out today, the lonesome boatman of reported two trout for their efforts. Wind WSW and variable fresh average speed 22 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

10/6/2022 Two boats out and their rods and reels were all quiet on all fronts. Wind SW fresh and veered WSW, average speed 24 mph gusts up to 36 mph followed by the odd shower.

11/6/2022 Toady’s Currane anglers were all quiet in all departments. Wind West light to fresh, Average speed 22 mph, strongest gusts 29 mph.

12/6/2022 All the Salmon headlines come from the North Shore and the Hampshire Hogs fishing out of [email protected] great to see the Hampshire Hogs manipulation on the Waves again of Lough Currane. UK Currane Angler Mr. Trevor Dewberry reported that he caught a 5lbs Grilse on the troll and followed by a few Brown Trout caught on the drift by the rest of the Hampshire Hogs. Wind NW and variable with reasonable cloud cover at times.

13/6/2022 Again all the fishing news and facts of the day come from the North Shore and at [email protected]. Hampshire Hog and Currane all-round angler Mr. Trevor Dewberry reports while fly fishing with the Shy man caught five Brown Trout, the biggest was in the 2lbs class. Fellow Currane UK Hampshire Hog Angler Mr. Nigel Henshaw, while fishing with the Lonesome boatmen and at caught a fine 3 lbs. Sea Trout on the troll. Now to the apology department and yes, I failed Miserably in my Duties for not reporting in last night’s Hampshire Hogs notes to report the Shy man and the Lonesome boatmen, so my apologies once again. Wind WNW light with good cloud cover.

14/6/2022 It’s a cracking day for the Currane Hampshire Hogs in the fly and trolling department. So on that note we will let the Hampshire Hogs tell their story so it’s all yours and I quote,” Hi Vincent, a 10 lb salmon on the troll for Nigel Henshaw fishing with the commander in chief Mr. Michael O’Sullivan and at [email protected]  and two 5lbs grilse, one on the troll and one on the fly for Peter Ruffle, fishing with the Shy Man.” Just for the record the Hampshire Hogs are fishing out of Wind SW light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover.
