Bodo Funke of Angling Services Ireland reports excellent pike action on both lure and fly for his clients.
Avid fly angler and regular visitor to Boyle, Mario Thonhauser, had great success fishing various bait fish patterns. Mario landed several double figure pike close to the meter during the week fishing different density lines.
Earlier in the week, first timers Peter and Kenny from Northern Ireland also enjoyed excellent sport. While Peter preferred the fly, Kenny scored with the lure rod. Both anglers had various pike up to the 1 meter mark.
And last but not least, the guide himself contributed another fine Esox of 110cm!
