There was 1 salmon on Beat 2 of the river Laune caught spinning by a visiting angler, water levels high in the last week.
Prior to this angling on the Laune was slack for the best part with big floods and abysmal weather being the main culprits. When it did clear some grilse were met and landed in the lower sections of the River Laune.
