Some of the Killybegs Mariners crew have been very active over the last week or two, with lots of species being caught from boat and shore.

Christopher and Brian spent a few hours afloat on the St. Catherine, fishing a few different grounds and bring 15 species to the boat – great angling!

Declan McGettigan from Killybegs Fishing Trips also caught a new lclub record John Dory over the weekend, while Dessie O’Keeney had nephews Alex and Paul out for their first taste of beach fishing, with treble hauls of flounder and turbot providing great sport.

Dessie and Ryan MxcGinley also had a beach session where they landed 5 small eyed (painted) ray – great to see these fish in close!

Stefan Martin also got out with the lures on a nice evening during the week, with some decent pollack testing the gears on his reel on the deeper marks.
