Flash flood proves fortuitous for Baggers

610

The VDE Baggers had planned to fish the fifth round of their winter league on Lough Skeagh, but after numerous flooding events due to storm Bert, they made a last-minute decision to switch to Lough Muckno, as they knew they would have room there to fish, even in high water.

Luckily, the decision paid off, as they were able to fish in comfort, and the fish didn’t let them down either. Despite a slow start, Aaron Hutchman put in a solid performance on the pole to rack up the winning bag of 8.260kg, with David Herron making second with 5.19kg and Paul Hutchman in third with 4.55kg.
