Chris Scally from Fish Tales had a couple of clients out with him recently, and when he saw a few fish turn away from the lures and take no interest in the deadbaits, he knew he was in for a day where fish would be scarce.
But sometimes, it’s days when the bites are few and far between that turn up the bigger fish, and so it was for Christin and Michael, who both beat their PBs with fish of 103cm and 104cm, each fish estimated at over the 20lb mark. In fact, it was only Michaels’s second-ever pike, and he’s already in the 20 club!
