Here on Fishing in Ireland we are avid watchers of, and love sharing, Youtube videos about fishing, especially some of the talented Irish angling creators. Pike and carp angler Stephen McDonagh has a Youtube channel titled, naturally enough, Fishing With Steve, and his videos are some of the best we’ve seen. Incorporating footage from drones, underwater cameras, GoPro and static cameras, the production and editing is second to none, and he knows how to keep us interested.
Two of Steve’s latest videos feature deadbaiting for pike, in late winter/spring just before he packed away his pike rods for the season. Featuring lake venues in Co. Meath and Co. Cavan, they are a great watch and take us through a day’s fishing for some great Irish pike. Will he catch a monster? Watch to find out!
