Charter boat Saoire Mara out of Kincasslagh in Co. Donegal had some good fishing over the weekend with mackerel making a welcome return. Both weekend Day Charters produced 15 varieties of fish each day with 5 anglers catching 10 or more varieties.

Pollock, Coalie, Whiting and Mackerel were plentiful. Other varieties included Sand Eel, Scad, Cod, Dogfish, Red, Grey and Tub Gurnards, Haddock, Ling, Pouting, Poor Cod, Thornback Ray, Ballan and Cuckoo Wrasse.

There are a few days of settled weather approaching and individual bookings as well as private charters are welcomed.
