International Angling Week, hosted by the Lisdoonvarna Fanore club, is well underway, with 3 competitions already held, even allowng for a postponement on Sunday due to bad weather. And we have to say, the photos show some great fish being caught, and lots of happy faces.
Conger seeem to be plentful enough, with some fine fish landed, including a great fish for James Linnane.
There were also some fine bull huss caught, among plenty more ncluding pollack and wrasse.
It’s also great to see plenty of young (and old and familiar) faces, anglers of all ages enjoying a great festival week. Hopefully the weather stays fair for the rest of the week and the festival ends on a high.
