Canal levels low but Leinster coarse anglers still catching

Water levels in our canals seem to be very low this year, which, coupled with weed growth, is giving a bit of a headache to many competition organisers. Members of the Leinster Coarse Fishing Federation found water levels to be well down from the norm last weekend, but that didn’t seem to impact the fishing too badly, with good mixed bags of hybrids, roach and bream. Jamie Murray took the win with 12lb 15oz.
