Mick Flanagan of Midland Angling and Shooting has been on the water once or twice in the last week. There weren’t many boats on Lene on what was a long, hard day with no fish and only one fish making brief contact. Mick turned to pike on Monday with his guest, James O’Hara, who was home for a short spell. This time they hit it right and both anglers had some great fish – with a personal best on the fly for James – and some war wounds for Mick to bring home to Mullingar!
