Club members enjoyed several productive sessions over the past week, landing and releasing some fine fish from local beaches. The group also made their annual visit to Belmullet, where, despite strong winds, they managed to find shelter in the bays of Erris proving once again that there’s always a corner to fish with your back to the wind.
As ever, the hospitality was a highlight, with excellent food and great entertainment in Belmullet.
With more settled weather forecast for the coming week, conditions look promising for even more enjoyable fishing.
