Skipper Luke Aston and his crew are certainly enjoying the fine weather of late. There has been a bit of sea mist about but plenty of sunshine too. Fishing for pollack with light spinning gear has been lots of fun. Some fine coalfish have been showing up in catches too.
Not every day is prolific, but even on a slow day, what does come to the boat can p[rovide tremendous sport. One slower day saw some fine spurdogs come aboard – hard-fighting and full of muscle, these fish are a great species to fish for!

Notes: With Luke’s knowledge of the ground he can bring you to places that most skippers only dream about. Places that have never been fished with rod and line until now! Here you can catch large skate over 200 pounds in 100 meters of water! Spots of sand where a large selection of flat fish lurk, including Turbot, Brill and Large Place. Rock peaks with the chance of catching that Big Cod, Pollock or Ling to make this a fishing trip that you will always remember.
