Chris and Bernard from the UK Midlands were once again over for the annual fishing trip to Melview Lodge in Longford, Kevin said the lads were very keen to start putting in the prebait for the next day’s fishing.

They fished two venues for the week which saw them catch steadily all week. They had bream to 6lb and tench to 5lb 7oz from one venue before they decided to turn their attentions to some silver fish fishing. This venue produced some nice roach, hybrids, and some great perch.

The guy’s did very well during their week considering the bright weather. Next week we report on another group of four anglers from the UK who were staying for their first time at Melview Lodge.
