Lower Bann CAA reports on the 5th round of their winter league…

26 November: Sunday saw us return to Portglenone for match No 5 of our Winter League. 19 anglers took the draw as we fished 2 sections. Peg 6 – 16 and pegs 40 – 50. On another beautiful late autumn day, the river conditions had changed and dropped back to low level.

The high 40’s and Peg 49 continued as the place to draw as Mike Perry weighed in an impressive 43lb 15oz. Johnny Keith was second with 35lb 6oz from peg 48. Bob Glasgow was 3rd with 29lb 12oz from peg 44, closely followed by Aaron Hutchman on peg 45 with 29lb 6oz. Gary Cummings 5th with 27 lb 8 oz from peg 8.
