The Sheet of Water
The sheet of water has been fishing well with the Rainbows particularly fond of Goldhead Damsel imitations at present. A few anglers have fished this water over the last week. The fish are in great condition with full fins in evidence and while the largest would be in the 4lb. size range they fight well above their weight. Well known Irish Anglers Digest journalist Liam Kane got in the action as did Suzanne Chalk from Georgia and they enjoyed a wonderful day’s sport
The Rye Lake.
Pike fishing on the Rye Lake is now in full swing with a number of anglers professing an interest in fishing here this weekend. Hopefully there should be some photos of the action with next weeks report.
