Jack Tisdall reports on the 3rd winter league match of the Erne Anglers Float only competition
Match 3 of the Erne Anglers Float Only was fished on the Ballyconnell Canal at No 1 Lock,
River Erne at Bellanaleck and the Cam River.
A sharp overnight frost did not put the fish off the feed completely and anglers caught the combined weight
of the first two event in this latest round.
Tony Kersley (Ballycassidy) won the match from the Harbour section at No1 Lock catching quality Roach on the pole for 7.320 Kgs.
New league leader and local expert David Burleigh (Kinawley )was second on peg 5 at Bellanleck with Roach on the 6 m Whip for
7.200 Kgs., with Lyndon Read (Lisnaskea) was third on the Cam River with 6.680 Kgs.
The final section at No1 Lock was won by Dave Slater (Enniskillen) with 4.550 Kgs.
