PETER COMPETITION. All going well I will get a night or two out on the lakes this week. Unfortunately my weekends are caught up with the Out & About scene here in Mullingar.This coming Friday night Lough Lene Angling Association will host their first evening competition. On the night the Larry Mulligan Cup is up for grabs, and fishing is from 7pm-11.15pm, so make sure your batteries are charges in the torch. It’s a truly magical time to be out on the lake, and as darkness falls some big fish drop their guard, and feed on hatching Green Peters and Murroughs.
