Noel caught a cracking 8lb 03z Ferox Trout in Roscommon while trolling for Pike with an 8 inch Bass Harasser. At first he thought it was a small Pike as the line swung left and right quite quickly but he soon realised he was stuck into a right cracker as the trout broke the water and leapt the full with of the boat. It put up an epic fight before it was in the back of the net.
Also attached is a photo of my brother Alan and his first Pike which he caught with us in Monaghan and it wasn’t too long before he was stuck into a few more during the day, unfortunately the bigger Pike were ellusive but we still had a great day out.
Finally attached is photo of me with a Pike that weighed 13lb on the nose from Roscommon. This Pike was caught on the troll on an 8 inch Bass Harasser and it really put up a strong exciting fight with numerous jumps and several darts under the boat before she was finally netted.
