The Irish Specimen Committee 2012 Annual report is out, and some fantastic Bream and Roach/Bream Hybrids were caught during 2012 on Derravaragh. James Dignam banked a super Bream back in September weighing an incredible 9.25lbs. In July Brendan Pender produced another specimen of 8.13lbs. In May Darragh Long caught a 7.56lbs specimen.
In 2012 a total of 6 Bream were caught on Derravaragh over Specimen weight which is 3.402kg / 7.5lbs.I just took a quick look at the Roach/Bream Hybrid specimens for 2012, and Derravaragh produced an incredible 16 Specimen Roach/ Bream Hybrids including the best one of 2012 caught by Liam Tully in July. This fish weighed 6.83lbs.
