A poor week for angling again this week with a total of just eight salmon caught, four ranched and four wild, with all the wild salmon released. The wild fish weighed in at around 4.5lbs while the ranched fish averaged 7lbs. The lucky anglers were Sean and Michael Smith, with three wild and one ranched. Ronan Walsh, Dublin had one ranched, Toby Gibbons, Westport, had a wild and a ranched fish while Sean O’Malley, Westport, had one ranched. Nine sea trout were also caught and released by Sean and Michael Smith.
