Mark Gannon of Courtmacsherry angling has had some nice catches in early October. On the 1st he returned a fine female skate 86″x63″apron weight 190lbs.
While skate fishing he also caught some good sized bullhuss, conger, lesser spotted dogfish, ling and pouting. Mark tells us that mackerel and herring are still abundant in the bay.
October 2nd saw Mark target Bass and on the 3rd even though there was a big swell up, he still managed some good conger,ling and Pollack.
and plenty of good sized ling on the inshore wrecks …….
