I fished the first leg of the Leinster League in Kilmore Quay on Sunday. The fishing was pretty good. The competing anglers caught plenty of pollock, coalies and dogs. There were also few cod and dabs, and i managed to catch a lemon sole .
Dick Hayes, skipper of the Enterprise charter boat said he hasn’t seen a lemon sole caught on rod and line for a long time.
