Enda Fields reports that Emy lake in Emyvale, Co Monaghan is fishing well at the moment with some lovely brown trout being caught. Local angler Jimmy Skinnader, caught this beauty below. The Mayfly is hatching most notably along the North Eastern shoreline of the lake. Water levels are ideal for shore fishing. All anglers are advised to wear life jackets.
