Alice Murtagh of the Corelesmore office reports excellent tench fishing around the Belltubet Miltown area. Alan  Murray from Liverpool had some fine quality bream in the area while staying at Church View Guest House in Belturbet – www.churchviewguesthouse.com.

Fishing is also reported good on Drumanny Little near Miltown.  Good mixed bags of fish on Dereskit and Killykeen has been fishing good generally.

Haughtons Shore and Church Lake on Garadice are reported to giving good bags of fish while Lock 5 and 7 on the canal is showing good Roach and Bream.  Meanwhile pike fishing in reported to be good in the area generally with some pike anglers using belly boats.

FAW 2014 at Killeshandra

13 junior anglers took part in the coarse angling tuition and competition which was held on Saturday last in conjunction with Killeshandra Anglers Club and Fisheries Awareness Week on Town Lake.

The Dromore system is reported to be giving good bags of fish especially Bream with one angler bagging 150lb of Bream during the course of one day.
