Liam O’Brien reports that a gale blew across Annaghierin Lake, Shercock, Co Cavan on Sunday last, but it did not stop 16 anglers from turning out to fish the knock up. Fishing was very tough and catches consisted of mainly of roach, and perch,with the top weight coming in at 9lb 5ozs.

Section wins went to Niall McKitterick and Vaidas Jagela.
Liam says a big well done to all who fished and reminds everyone that the next outing is on Lough Muckno on the Sunday 28th December 2014.
Liam would also like to remind everyone that the club is having a meeting on Tuesday 30th December 2014 – meeting in the Welcome Inn, Main Street, Ballybay at 4.30pm, a few items to be discussed, wont keep you long, and we will have a few pints as well.
