Brown trout to 7lb for father and son team on Lough Ree

Lough Ree is producing some good early season trout…

Athlone Anglers Philip Cunningham and his dad Timmy are reeling in some good trout from Lough Ree. On their most recent angling  adventure it was Timmy that came up trumps and netted a super brown trout of 7lbs on the troll.

Lough Ree will produce a few more cracking fish in the coming weeks and might be worth checking out over the break for St. Patrick weekend.
