Some nice trout from Owel as competition time looms

Quite a few boats are Out & About on Owel and some nice fish are coming on line we are told. I hope to give it a lash later this week, and catch my first Owel trout of the season.

Lough Trout Preservation Association host their first competition on Sunday April 13^th and up for grabs is the Ace Perpetual Cup.

Also taking place in April is the I.T.F.F.A. Youths fundraiser with top prize a new 19ft Kingfisher boat. This takes place on 27^th April. More on these events in the coming weeks.
