Day four at the World’s Pairs Competition saw great excitement at the three draw locations in Ballinamore, Ballyconnell and Enniskillen as the anglers arrived to draw their pegs.
We were saddened to hear that Steve & Phil Ringer were involved in a road accident, through no fault of their own, whilst arriving at their venue for the day. As a precaution Steve has been taken to hospital, but Phil was able to fish today. We wish both a speedy recovery.
There was rain for most competitors today, the final day of competition. Under gloomy skies at Brackley Lake, Gary Miller is catching quality fish on the long pole.
The cameras are now going to Lough Scur and Kiltybarden to follow the last hour of progress for overnight leaders Rod Scott and Michael Buchwalder…
Good to see another strong group of contestants from Germany this year. They are putting up a strong showing in both the pairs and the Daiwa UK Cup.
