Two Wexford anglers were among the Irish Federation of Sea Anglers (IFSA) World Shore Team which achieved a great result in the 32nd World Shore Angling Championships in Portugal
The Irish team competed against 17 nations over the course of four days of angling in the Algarve, taking a bronze medal.
This achievement should give Ireland great encouragement as the world shore championships are to be held on home ground in Wexford 2016.
On their return to Ireland, the team were by members of the IFSA including Chairman Michael Quinn, who welcomed them home and congratulated all for their sterling efforts that contributed to the success of the team in the championships…
