Skipper Séan Maguire on the Lady Gwen II in Co. Clare reports some good cod fishing and a big variety of fish being caught. The weather was good for fishing last Saturday and Sunday and anglers enjoyed the sport.
At Carrigaholt Luke Aston tells us “Friday was a lovely day on the sea with still a good sign of fish about. Plenty pollack and some nice chunky Cod. We also had a few Porbeagle sharks show up. On bigger one took a few of our pollack at the surface and them this handy one ran fowl of a set of muppets!”
