Daingean Match Anglers fished the first of their summer 5 hour matches on 27 March. The cold, wet and windy weather made the fishing a little harder than expected. Despite the conditions everyone had a few bites and the top 3 anglers were separated by just 2oz, so it was a close match.
There was a tie for first place with Martin and Brian both on 4.2lb and 4lb for 3rd.
Martin had a 1lb120z to his net and Carl had the first tench of the season. The organsiers gave thanks to all who participated, and expressed the wish that they would be fishing the rest of the rummer 5 hour matches in warmer weater.
