A lovely calm and dry night at the league outing in Narin on Friday night as 14 anglers lined the beach fishing the going tide. It became obvious early on this was going to be a doggie shootout as the shiny dogs eyes reflected back off the headlights coming ashore. Most anglers had more dogs than flatties but some nice flounder around the 30cm mark were caught and released along with small turbot and codling.
Scores were close again at the end but a nice fishing for James McGettigan won most points cash prize and James also won the longest fish pool with a lovely 37cm flounder. Well done all.
