Hall’s angling centre reported exceptional fishing over the weekend. Hugh Jameson and a party of 12 from Northern Ireland fished out of Hall’s for three days and they had an individual rod average of approximately 3.5, with several fish in the 3lb bracket.

David Connors from Armagh fished on Bank-holiday Monday and he had 4 fish pulling wets (best fish 2.5lbs all returned). Owen McGreal, Sean Moogan and Toby Gibbons from Westport had 6 good trout pulling wets in high winds on Sunday (Best fish 3lbs).
