The Sheemore Anglers held their member’s Hamper Match at the Carrick Craft marina in on Sunday 16th December. The match was the 5th leg of the Winter League and their was also a pairs competition to play for.
The river was a coloured and flowing well following the rain earlier in the weekend, so it was looking like a tough day ahead. Some of the anglers on ledger switched to pole due to snaggy conditions and many found the slacker pegs fished best. In the end there were some decent weights recorded and results are as follows:
Individuals

- M. Tigwell, 13lb 10oz
Pairs
- M. Fitzpatrick & A. Riley – 29lb 13oz
- G Chandler and J Van de Speck, 27lb 6oz
