05 July: We had over 50 tope to about 36lb today. Of these 22 were over a metre and there were 30+ small lads. As well the tope fest, we had a few huss, gurnard and a ray. It was a cracking day with a great group. Even my arms are hangin!!

10 July: Specimen tope and smoothhound coming steady now. We had 2 specimen tope early today and 7 specimen hounds the other day. Not only that but we’ve had 50lb tope and 16lb smoothhound in last week. Tope numbers are at record levels; there’s realistic chance of getting 50+ in a day. Couldn’t be better!
