Tough conditions but some good catches in the Cootehill Festival

The 39^th Annual Cootehill Angling Festival took place last week with 101 anglers taking part. High water levels prevailed as did the wind and the rain but that did not deter the enthusiasm of the competitors.

• 2^nd I Wise 71.690kg
• 3^rd A Price 68.200kg
• 4^th G Whalley 66.400kg

The presentation night which took place in the Errigal Hotel.

The organising committee look forward to celebrating the 40^th Anniversary of the event in 2020.
