Declan Gibbons reports

High water levels for the time of the year have altered the angling and mixed fortunes are being had by anglers that took to the water. However, most who ventured out enjoyed good fishing.

Larry McCarthy of Corrib View Lodge http://www.corribangling.com reports of extremely high water levels making angling difficult over the last week. Eight anglers staying at Corrib View Lodge caught and returned 14 trout over 4 days, best fish 3Lbs but many in the 1.5Lbs range. Angling effort has been slow but with a drop in levels hopefully it will see a positive end to the 2019 season.
