Lower Bann CAA reports on the latest round of their summer league…

Michael Cormican won round 5 of our Summer League held at Portglenone on Sun 13 Sept.

On a warm, breezy day, conditions were hard as all flood gates were open on a swollen fast, flowing river. Michael alternated between the whip and feeder on peg 46, for 30 odd fish weighing in with 2.750kg.

Well done Michael!

Making the win even more pleasing for Michael was the fact that he was on the golden peg. Michael pocketed around £200 for the win. Not a bad days work!

Keith Russell was 2nd on peg 50 with 2.45kg. Jimmy Speers 3rd on peg 45 with 2.040kg

Go fishing…
