Eileen Carroll reports on some of the Kerry salmon fisheries
KILLARNEY LAKES/RIVER LAUNE
Water levels on the Laune were up last week, and fish are present. Local anglers caught 4 Salmon averaging 8lbs from top of beat 1. Report also that 22lb salmon was landed from the middle lake in Killarney by trolling.
KENMARE/WATERVILLE RIVERS
Kenmare rivers; All rivers now open but no word of any salmon caught yet.
FLESK RIVER
Flesk; Level has dropped away finally and a couple of fish caught during the week.
