Eamonn Conway of Táin Flyfishing has uploaded a couple of great instructional videos onto his YouTube channel, taken while fishing the beautiful River Fane in Ireland’s north east. In the first video, you can get great advice on how to fish the deadly perdigon nymph, while in the second, both dry fly and nymphing techniques are covered.

To the uninitiated, one of the biggest eye-openers is the quality of fish that nymphing with perdigons can capture from right under the rod tip when fished correctly – no thirty yard casts required!
