James Raymond is no stranger to these reports, and he is back with another great video for his Irish Angling Adventures channel. This winter, James is planning to target cod in the Shannon Estuary. He says “The Shannon Estuary is well known for its fine stocks of Thornback ray and conger but not many people tend to fish it during the winter for some cod.”

This video is the first in a series James plans to make over the winter, and we will be following closely to see how he gets on. Sharing tips on choosing a venue, tide state, bait preparation and where to cast, sea anglers are sure to learn plenty.
