The Leinster Coarse Fishing Federation held the 6th round of their Leinster Open competition on the canal at Daingean over the weekend. It was a tough session for the lads, and no matter what bait was offered, the fish just didn’t seem interested. But I’m sure they will be back on the banks before long, and hopefully, the next time, they’ll have a bumper session.
