Damian Foltyn of the Irish Feeder YouTube channel has released a couple of informative videos for his followers. Firstly, Damian fishes the Enaghan section of Lough Gowna for roach and skimmers, where talks us through his approach for the day, with in-depth info on the rigs and tactics he uses.
One of the messages that Damian likes to get across is that you don’t have to break the bank to be a successful match angler and in this video he proves the point by using a rod that comes in at under €100.
In his next upload, Damian is house bound because of the frozen spell that covered the island in recent weeks so he decides to fill up the fish tank and analyse the different brands of groundbait that he uses in his swimfeeders. This one is for the hardcore match men and gives the rest of us an idea of the level of detail that the best in the business have to go to.
