Munster Coarse Anglers fished the second match of their winter series in Portumna at the weekend. Kevin Leahy reports…
Still a few short of a full compliment but 11 turn out for the 2nd match in this year’s winter league . Again fished in two sections the town stretch and stick ups with the town having more consistent weights.
Steve’s local knowledge standing him in good stead with a impressive 18lb 12oz for top spot. Ever consistent Ray taking 2nd 11lb 10oz and Ian 3rd with 9lb 10oz all from the town section. At the Stick ups Martin had the best weight with 9lb 2oz on Whip.

Next Match in two weeks time more than likely in O’Briensbridge.
